Microgrid

Elpower was called to create a microgrid system in a platform located in Venice Laguna, where our customer has its own facility (fishing farming). The scope was to replace the supply to the loads (40 kW in total) from the exhisting two diesel gensets to a renewable source microgrid, with the installation of two PV power plants of 33 kWp each and a BESS of 42,6 kWh, both of them directly connected with a Cleansland 60 kW Hybrid PCS. Thanks to Elpower EMS (Energy Management System) the utilization of diesel genset moved from 100% to 30%.
